Who We Are

Enterprise experience, pointed at small business.

JACT ICT Services was founded in 2020 to bring enterprise-level technology experience to businesses that don’t have an IT department. That background spans 15+ years of enterprise network infrastructure, Cisco routing and switching, AWS cloud networking, cybersecurity, and hands-on hardware support — solving real operational problems for real organizations.

Alongside that infrastructure depth is hands-on experience designing and building websites for small businesses and community organizations — new builds and full redesigns, from structure and content through to launch. JACT also delivers practical technology training for small business owners, covering IT literacy, cyber safety, and getting more out of the tools they already have.

JACT is owner-led. Every engagement runs through one accountable point of contact, from the first conversation to the final handoff — no account managers, no handoff to junior staff.

Experience

Fifteen years on production systems.

Networking — Cisco routing and switching, VLANs, wireless and site-to-site VPNs on networks carrying an entire organization’s traffic. The same design discipline, sized to an office that just needs it to work.

Cloud — AWS networking and architecture: VPCs, subnets, routing, and clean connections between cloud services and the equipment still sitting in your building. Straight answers about what is worth moving and what should stay where it is.

Server — Server builds, migrations, patching, and backup and restore, plus the physical side when the hardware itself is the problem. Restores get tested, because a backup nobody has restored is a guess.

Security — Firewalls, access control, and network segmentation, configured so one compromised laptop can’t reach payroll, backups, and every shared drive on its way through.

Cyber — The attacks that actually land on small businesses: phishing, ransomware, account takeover. What to shut down first, and staff who can recognize the next attempt.

A clear next step

Every engagement ends with the work documented, results summarized, and recommended next steps — so you know exactly where you stand.

Technology should solve problems — not create them.
